Laundry.

I've never been fond of doing laundry - dirty clothes eek me out. Plus, I always knew I had enough in my wardrobe to last me for a couple of months without needing to do laundry.

So when I went to Kaven for the clothes hanger a few days ago, he proclaimed "So, you finally ran out of clothes, huh?"

"No, my laundry bag ran out of space."

A Quiet Halloween.

A quick one now before I tinker off to bed. Hardly been sleeping these few days; I can't doze off when my mind is full of stressful thoughts (i.e. study-research-presentation-study again) and sleep is really a luxury nowadays.

I must say, I wasn't planning on celebrating Halloween at all this year. It's not the same without the people I used to have so much fun getting ready with, dressing each other up and painting faces, oh and who can forget the many many many pictures we used to take in every nook and crook of the house because we were so damn proud of our costumes.:)

A year ago, we partied until the club closed and we HAD to leave. I remember my boots were killing me from two hours before but no one allowed me to go, even though I was sick with tonsilitis! Ahh good times good times.

It was 9pm and I was getting ready for a quiet night in with the books when Jonathan called and asked if I was free. Sure, I said. Well then come open the door because I'm downstairs, he replied. Are you serious?? Yes.

True enough, when I opened the door there he was, still decked in his office attire, albeit with his crumpled pink shirt hanging out, like how high school boys look when the final bell rings.

I peered at him, Where's your coat? Where's your bag? WHY ARE YOU HERE, DON'T YOU NEED TO WORK TOMORROW??

He continued standing there giving me his best puppy-eyes look, before telling me that his stuff was in the toad.

The WHAT? I asked bewilderedly.

He pointed behind him, and in the semi-darkness I made out the silhouette of a car. A car he endlessly claims to look like a toad. I think it's called a Megante or something, don't ask me about cars, I can't tell a BMW from a Mercedes from a Vauxhall from a Kancil. Haha.

So yes, he drove down from Manchester for the night and instead of a quiet night in, I dragged him out for Halloween and also stole his tie. Nyek nyek. Which he had to bring the next day to work and I'm pretty sure it reeked of cigarettes and alcohol.

Oh, I don't know why I just typed the whole thing above. I was trying to prove a point - that my schoolgirl costume was put together in less than 10 minutes and came entirely from my wardrobe (sans tie), because I wasn't intending to go at all in the first place. I think every girl needs this "costume" in their collection, comes in handy in times like these, eh.

Did I mention, the Toad had a pretty cool sun-roof and I was practically standing up in my seat with my head sticking out the roof of the car flailing my hands about. And when I saw some of my friends outside Bia Hoi, I instructed Jon to drive over and I proceeded to yell out for them.

Look! Look! Sun-roof! I'm in the sun-roof!

Their reaction? "Err, do you see a SUN anywhere?"

I'm pretty sure after that, Jonathan must have secretly vowed to never again drive me around in a car with a sun-roof in it.

Well, the clubbing event at Embrace was alright, the drinks were not, and too bad we had to leave JUST when the party was getting started. Work commitments, tsk tsk.

Oh, and probably one of the few times I'll wear my hair in pigtails.

Happy Halloween!

At the eleventh hour, as always.

If procrastination does not maketh a student, then I don't know what does. A knack for putting things off 'till the very last moment may seem a good idea at the beginning, but then tickety-tock and hey, will you look at what time it is now!

Well, it's midnight and I've only just begun on a presentation I have to give tomorrow today. *fiddles with thumbs and whistles*

On a totally unrelated note, I'll be moving to LiveJournal soon. Finally got tired of Xanga and I think it's time for a change. A change is always good. :)

Focus, now!

:):):)

It's a Friday morning, and I'm usually up past noon since my lecture only begins at 2pm.

BUT, today is different! Today is October 26th! The day the Spice Girls tickets go on sale again!

....it's half past ten now and I FINALLY HAVE THE TICKETS FOR THE CONCERT!! *bounce bounce* :)

Nyek nyek, still cannot believe I've got it really, seeing as the last batch of London tickets sold out in 38 freakin' seconds. I cannot be too happy yet though, not until they've delivered the tickets to my doorstep. They better! I did not sacrifice my sleep for nothing. Stayed up a bit later last night to research on HOW to get the tickets the best way then woke up early to wait for the release of the tickets at 10am. It was quite stressful, I must say. Have you ever tried calling and calling into a radio station to win some freebies and stuff? It was exactly like that today, except I was using both my hands to endlessly redial two phones, and at the same time was trying to get the tickets online. Whoever said I couldn't multi-task, pffffttt.

I sound like some crazed fan but I'm not. Really. :)
